Description: Earthy, rich, and full of umami, these dried shiitake mushrooms are a pantry powerhouse, slowly dehydrated at low temperatures to preserve their flavor. Rehydrate them in warm water and add to soups, stir-fries, broths, or grain bowls for deep, savory flavor. The soaking liquid makes an excellent mushroom stock, too. To use: soak in hot water for 20 minutes (1 oz reconstitutes to 6-8 oz), cook as desired.
